Essie Truth or Flare!

A week off of nail polish is over!!! I couldn't wait any longer especially after getting this polish, Essie Truth or Flare!

Oooooh I love the color!! I don't think the picture does justice here. Maybe closer to the color of my pinky nail. Grayish blue. Me love!! :) :) :)

It is kind of like jelly finish. The formula is rather watery but I just did two coats and looks great! I would be just as happy as without anything else but I stamped some designs just because I wanted to play!

Two coats of Essie Truth or Flare. Stamped with MoYou London Sailor collection 04 plate and Sally Hansen Silver Sweep as stamping polish.

I just went kind of water theme because this polish reminds me of water with its jelly finish. Silver stamping polish goes wonderfully, matching with gray tone of Truth or Flare. I truely love this shade. I can't stop looking at it on my nails!! Yes, I'm obsessed!

Have you tried this shade? If not, YOU SHOULD GET ONE!!!

Shopping, shopping, and more shopping!?

I am giving my nails some break from polish. Continuous painting and/or my iron deficiency is contributing to my sad looking nails...

But even when I'm not painting my nails, my OCD is pushing me to buy more and more polish and nail products!? Maybe more so because my energy had to go somewhere??

Here are some products I bought recently and waiting to be used eventually...

OPI Muppets Most Wanted mini set! Well... I actually used one of the polish Chilling' Like a Villain once a little while ago but I didn't like the outcome much. That is because I was just trying it to see how it looks and didn't put too much effort or planning on the design.

I am hoping to try other polish from this set and post another time when I get to it...

OPI Sheer Tints mini set!

When these came out, I wasn't sure if I wanted to get them in full size because they are not really polish but rather tinted top coats. You can use them like water color to add sheer color to your nail art or paint over the base color to change the color slightly. I was looking for the opportunity to get the mini set to try and I was fortunate to find it!

Revlon Parfumerie Chocolate Truffle & Wintermint!

I found out about these parfumed nail polish recently and just had to get some! They do not smell out of the bottle nor first you paint it. When it dries, you will be able to smell it (that is what I hear...) Still waiting to be tried...

Essie Rock the Boat, Full Steam Ahead, The Girls Are Out, and Sunday Funday (from left to right)!

These are Dollar store finds! $3 each!!! Really?? Time to time, it won't hurt to check out their beauty isles because I bought a few OPI polish there in the past as well. These are from 2013 summer collection. I already have The More The Merrier so I didn't get that one, which was also selling at my local dollar store!

Essie Apricot Cuticle Oil. I guess I could use this now because it is not polish. I usually use Solar Oil but I saw this at the store and bought it to try...

Essie Truth or Flare & Mint Candy Apple!

I got obsessed by Truth or Flare after seeing the pictures on Internet. It is grayish blue. Such pretty color! I like blue polish (as you may know...) and I have lots but this one, I think, is unique. I love this color!!! Since the store I went had buy 1 get 1 sale, I grabbed another blue polish Mint Candy Apple because I hear about this color a lot. Blue color makes me happy instead of making me blue! Ha ha!

So, these are recent shopping finds. I am getting rather inpatient, itching to paint my nails again.

Do you give your nails a break sometime? What are your recent polish purchase?

Delicate and Blue

Here is the look I have for this week. Very subtle and delicate stamping.

I attended my beloved son's graduation ceremony this week (I am so proud!) I needed to paint my nails for the occasion and chose this baby blue shade. I didn't want to stamp anything too bright, so I have decided to stamp with gold. It is almost invisible in shade but you can see the design whenever the light shines on my nails. Very delicate indeed! It is very difficult to capture this look in the pictures though... Too subtle?

For this look, I first painted my nails with Essie Borrowed & Blue. For stamping, I used Nails inc. Chelsea Bridge Road (light gold) and designs from MoYou London Pro Collection 04 and 07.

I quite like this look and hope to recreate something like this time to time.

Do you like delicate look on your nails?

Kiko Polish From Europe!

My beloved daughter finally came back from her vacation trip to Europe! And she brought me home some goodies from there!!

I tried the base coat and the blue polish right away. :)

I used Kiko Ultra Long Post Stress Treatment Base Coat as the base. Then I painted my nails with Kiko blue polish (I'm not sure the name of the color... Maybe number 337??) and OPI Where Did Suzi's Man-Go? I used Bundle Monster plate BM-308 for orange design and MoYou London Princess 09 for flower design. I used Konad white and Color Club Harp on It as stamping polish.

I never used Kiko polish before. It was very opaque and easy to apply.

Have you tried Kiko polish or nail care products?
