Tropical Rainforest aka Glow in the Dark Mini Putt Nails!

I went with the Rainforest look this week, which my beloved daughter calls "glow in the dark mini putt" nails... Yes, we used to go to a local indoor mini putt place where the walls were painted in rainforest theme!

I started out going with black and white but thought it might be fun to gradually adding colors from one nail to the other.

For this look, I first painted my nails with Essie Stylenomics (almost black dark green). I stamped a plant design from Bundle Monster plate BM-617 with Konad white stamping polish. I added colors using OPI color paints, Primarily Yellow and Turquoise Aesthetic. For my thumb nails, I used direct decal method to also add more colors with OPI I'm Sooo Swamped! (green) and OPI It's a Piazza Cake (orange) for full color look.

I love the look very much!

Do you like the fun nails like this?

Ocean Nails!

Already August?! I must do at least one ocean theme look, right?

I am still experimenting with the double stampted look. So I stamped the first images with silver and accented with black.

For this look, I first painted my nails with Essie Where's My Chauffeur (Turquoise). I used various designs from MoYou London Sailor Collection plate 04 to stamp the first layer of stamps, using Sally Hansen Silver Sweep (silver). For accent nails, I used the octopus design from Bundle Monster plate BM-401 and Konad Black Pearl stamping polish.

It is a fun look with Mr. Octopus!

To tell you the truth, I have not been anywhere near the ocean this summer!!

Do you like orcean look?

Layered Look Again!

Last week I enjoyed double stamped look soooo much that I had to repeat it this week! I think I'm addicted!!

You can check out what I did last week here. This time I changed up the color to warmer tone. Still the same idea. First stamp all nails with patterns and stamp on accent nails with contrasting colors.

For this look, I first painted my nails with Essie Sunday Funday (reddish orange). I used various patterns from Bundle Monster plate BM-S103 to stamp the first layer of designs, using Essie Partner In Crime (brown) as stamping polish. For accent nails, I used MoYou London Explorer collection 03 and Konad white stamping polish.

I used the same MoYou London plate this week again because it is a perfect plate to stamp partial design instead of full nail design. For the layered look, you want enough empty space to show what is underneath. I think I have to look though my plates to see what other designs might work for partial stamping just to vary the look for the next time.

Do you have any recommendation for plates to use for layered look?

Little Dot
