Merry Christmas!

A quick post to wish you all a very merry Christmas!

This is a bit different version of the previous Christmas nail post here. I used the same Bundle Monster plate but this time went for a black and white look.

For this look, I first painted my nails with Essie Cashmere Bathrobe (dark shimmery grey). I used images from Bundle Momster BM-S219 for stamping. I used MoYou London White Knight and Sally Hansen Silver Sweep as stamping polish.

I like the simple look very much!

Which look is your favorite?

Happy holidays!!

Christmas Sweater!

Simple but Christmas nail design for you today!

I finally got a hold of Essie Maki Me Happy. That means I bought all colors from Essie Fall 2016 collection. I just love all these beautiful colors!!

I don't usually wear reds and that is one of the reasons I didn't buy Essie Maki Me Happy initially. But Christmas is the great time to wear reds, right?

For this look, I first painted my nails with Essie Maki Me Happy (red). I stamped the sweater pattern from Nailz Craze plate 03. I used MoYou London White Knight for stamping.

Are you all ready for Christmas?

Christmas Garland!

I will be posting a few Christmas nail posts in the next bit.

I got this cute Christmas garland plate from Bundle Moster and I was dying to use it! Did I go a little overboard? Oh well, it's Christmas!

For this look, I first painted my nails with Essie Stylenomics (almost black dark green). I used Bundle Monster plate BM-S219 for stamping. I used the direct decal method so that I can color ornaments. The outline stamping polish I used is MoYou London Pink Clay. I used Nails Inc. Chelsea Bridge Road (gold) and Sally Hansen Silver Sweep (silver) to color in the designs.

Isn't the gingerbread man so cute? I had to add the face and the buttons with Essie Stylenomics because the outline was a bit hard to see after coloring it with MoYou London Cappuccino. I guess Pink Clay and Cappuccino were kind of similar colors...

What kind of Christmas design would you wear?

Angel Feathers!

I picked up Essie Virgin Snow recently at a local store. This polish is from Essie Winter 2015. This is the only color I liked from last winter collection so I didn't buy any last year but since I found it, why not, right?

I am glad I picked it up! This is a very pretty color! In different lights, it could look pale blue or lavender tone. I like it very much.

I wanted to do some soft angelic design to match the color!

For this look, I first painted my nails with Essie Virgin Snow (pale lavender). I used a feather design from Messy Mansion plate MM30.  I stamped a few feathers with Konad white stamping polish and added a few silver ones with Sally Hansen Silver Sweep.

I am very happy to see the end result! Exactly what I was looking for!! Soft and angelic!

I'm not quite ready to wear all Christmassy nails yet. But this is a perfect look for this season.

Do you like the look of this design?

Elephants!

I love this pale pink polish, Essie Go Go Geisha! I wore this polish before here. This time, I paired it with Essie Kimono Over!

Both Go Go Geisha and Kimono Over are from Essie Fall 2016 collection. And I've been using the colors from this collection constantly!!

For this look, I first painted my nails with Essie Go Go Geisha (pale pink) and Essie Kimono Over (dark purple). I stamped elephant design and tribal print design from Bundle Monster plate BM-XL202 with Nails Inc. Chelsea Bridge Road (gold foil).

I really like the contrast of pale pink and dark almost black purple. And the gold looks really sharp.

By the way, this image plate is designed by Marta of Chitchat Nails. I follow her on her blog and Instagram!! I like this tribal elephant image a lot!

Do you like this tribal elephant look?

MoYou London Stamping Polish Review!

I picked up a bunch of MoYou London stamping polish recently at a local store!

I have been using MoYou London image plates for some years now but I never had a chance to try their stamping polish. I haven't tried all these colors yet but for the some I tried, I am very impressed.

Here you see our twin creation (my beloved daughter's and mine!) On the left, I used MoYou London Malibu Tan to stamp forest animals. On the right, I used MoYou London Bora Bora to stamp paisley design on my daughter's nails.

See how clear and opaque the images are? For this look, I first painted my nails with Essie Playing Koi (reddish orange) and stamped animals from Bundle Monster plate BM-S163, using MoYou London Malibu Tan (tan).

For my beloved daughter's nails, I first painted her nails with Essie Kimono Over (dark purple). I stamped designs from MoYou London Flower Power Collection 15, using MoYou London Bora Bora (turquoise). Some of the nails even look like having the green background polish. But it is the stamped color! Very bright and opaque!

I like the fact they are like regular polish in consistency. Very easy to apply without any stringy feel to it. Yet very clear and opaque!! Love!!!

Have you tried these?

Cats!

I bought a few Bundle Monster plates recently and one of the purchase was this cat plate, BM-S162!

I wanted to get this design plate earlier but whenever I was going to order, it was out of stock! Finally, I got it!

For this look, I first painted my nails with Essie Kimono Over (dark purple). I used Bundle Monster BM-S162 and Konad white for stamping.

Essie Kimono Over is from Essie Fall 2016 collection. And if you have read my previous few posts, you know how much I love this collection!

I love cats! Are you a cat person?

Japanese Kimono

Continuing with Essie Fall 2016 collection polish, I used Now and Zen, Kimono Over, and Playing Koi for this design!

I actually love love love this look! It kind of reminds me of Japanese kimono!

For this look, I first painted my nails with Essie Now and Zen (grey). I stamped a design from Bundle Monster plate BM-XL155, using Essie Kimono Over as stamping polish. I used Direct Decal Method to stamp some flowers from Pueen 72 on a few nails. I used Konad white for outlines and colored in with Essie Playing Koi (orange red).

Essie Kimono Over is great as stamping polish! And I like the look of layered stamping!

I wore this look for a little over a week and I didn't want to take it off!!

Do you like the design like this?

Koi Fish

I love the colors from Essie Fall 2016 collection! I ended up buying almost all colors!! I used my first pick, Go Go Geisha, in this design here. This time, I used Udon Know Me and Playing Koi!

For this look, I first painted my nails with Essie Udon Know Me (dusty blue) and Playing Koi (orangy red). I used koi fish design from Bundle Monster plate BM-725, using Essie Kimono Over as stamping polish. I added a little more color after stamping, using OPI Chromatic Orange and OPI Primarily Yellow.

I found all these colors to be well pigmented. I was able to use Essie Kimono Over as stamping polish and I might want to try stamping with other colors from this collection!

I am so happy with this collection and I am sure I will be wearing these colors a lot this season!

Have you tried any color from Essie Fall 2016?

Orange Foxes!

Cute fall fox design for you today!

I really love this Messy Mansion plate. Perfect for fall/winter designs!

For this design, I first painted my nails with OPI It's a Piazza Cake! (Orange) and Essie Take It Outside (taupe grey). I used the fox design from Messy Mansion plate MM34 and OPI It's a Piazza Cake for stamping.

These foxes are so cute!!

Do you like fox design?

Pink Ribbons!

Pink Ribbons for breast cancer awareness month!

Recently, I had an experience of beast cancer screening that resulted in follow-up ultrasound and biopsy. Fortunately, everything came out good but time like this, you think about your health as well as others who might be fighting this disease.

For this look, I first painted my nails with Essie I Am Strong (pink) and Sally Hansen Ivory Skull (white). I used Bundle Monster plate BM-321 and Essie I Am Strong for pink ribbon stamping.

Essie I Am Strong is from Breast Cancer Awarness 2012 collection. So it is a good polish to use for this theme!

Wishing you all good health!

Essie Go Go Geisha - Twin Nails

When I heard that Essie Fall 2016 collection was inspired by Japan, I thought I must get all colors from this collection!

Well, the first one I got was Go Go Geisha! I love this lovely tone of muted pink!

My beloved daughter and I couldn't wait to try this color so we have twin nail designs for you this week!

For my look, I first painted my nails with Essie Go Go Geisha (dusty pink). I used a design from Bundle Monster Polynesia BM-XL 111 and China Glaze Sleeping Under the Stars (navy) for stamping.

For my beloved daughter's look, she first painted her nails with Essie Go Go Geisha (dusty pink). She used her favorite plate, MoYou London Explorer Collection 03 and Essie Pool Side Service for stamping.

We really enjoyed wearing this color. Have you purchased any color from this collection?

Love,

Little Dot
